Radio frequency identification systems

Inside the transponder tag is present a micro-chip, an antenna miniaturized, a capacitor (if of the passive type) or a small battery (if active type) that, passing through the magnetic field generated by the read / write devices, they are urged to transmit or receive stored information.
In general, the components concerned to compose an RFID system are:
one or more radio frequency transponder tags (active or passive)
a reader / writer radiofrequency
one or more antennas
reader and the individual transponder communicate with each other by modulation of a radio frequency signal. The transponder picks up the signal with your antenna and the reader sends the data contained in its memory by modulating the RF signal
The transponder has a memory which contains a unique identification code in the world, chosen among billions of possible combinations, which is stored on the chip during the production phase. This data is not editable and allows the univocal identification of the chip, while the other areas of memory can be read or written, at the user’s discretion, to manage the information relating to the business process or the object on which it is affixed
